Craig Spangler, DDS
I love giving my patients the highest quality of dental care each and every day. Our patients are a wonderful group of people who appreciate what we do and how we do it. My goal is to create a culture of gratitude in our office. My team and I are grateful for the wonderful patients we treat, for the fantastic people we work with, and the improvements we can make in the quality of life for the people in our community.
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery – University of Michigan, 1979
- General Dental Residency – St. Joseph Mercy Oakland, Pontiac, MI, 1980
As the Director of the General Residency Program, St. Joseph Mercy Oakland, I coordinate the teaching of the next generation of dental professionals. I share with them my love of dentistry, treating people with special needs, and the importance of good dental health to good overall health. In addition, I keep up-to-date with the newest in dental technology through advanced implant classes in regards to implant treatment and restoration.

I am a native of Bloomfield Hills and feel blessed to have been able to live, work, and raise my family in such a wonderful, supportive community. My wife, Teresa, and I have two children. Karen is a graduate student at the University of Michigan and John is a graduate student at Georgetown University. I am very proud of them and all they’ve accomplished. In my free time I enjoy cycling and traveling to classic car shows. I support the Bloomfield Hills school system and have been a Boy Scout Assistant Scoutmaster for ten years.
